I know it's a little out of topic, but im as proud as i've ever been. It's our first and we're loving every minute of it. Now don't get me wrong, the Max will still get plenty of attention, actually now that she's arrived I can start getting some more mods to catch all you guys. Hey Blax, sorry about your ride, glad yer ok!

By the way, please disregard the Cardomain logo, I still have'nt found a good site to dump pics.

Aww how cute. Congradulations. I had the pleasure of living with my nephew for the first 2 months he was alive. It's quite an experience to say the least.

You're not alone in this feeling--went thru it myself when we adopted our first at age 3 months. Until then, my 70 Mustang convertible was my pride and joy. Having children kind of helps you put things in perspective. Enjoy!

Hey guys I appreciate all the comp's. I had NO idea of the feelings I would go through when I saw her for the first time. Man, I'll tell ya, they sure make you see things alot differently. I just brought them both home and all's well.

Thanks again
Mike

Best wishes to you on parenthood. Now you may need to refresh yourself on the Maxima owner's manual sections regarding child safety seat attachments. It truly is a family (and sport and near luxury) sedan!

Im actually impressed with our LATCH systems. There a breeze to use. Before I tried installing the seat my self, I went to police stations and even the highway patrol, no luck. I thought hmm, I'll call nissan, they'll know how to do it.......WRONG. Sometimes they really **** me off, nobody knows **** up there. Oh well. Back to being daddy...

Your story makes me wonder how many people with infants or very young children drive a 6th gen Maxima and have posed inquiries similar to yours to the appropriate party(s). From your experience, one would gather that your situation is in the marked minority (i.e., it must not come up very often).
