Can someone show me a pic of the TCU?
Can someone show me a pic of the TCU?
I have both a chiltons and a nissan factory service manual for my third gen maxima, so please don't tell me to RTFM. Neither one has a picture of the actual box itself, but both have pictures of the connector. I'm sure that would do me a lot of good if the stupid thing burnt out
Anyway, I really like the TCU (timing control unit) functions on my '91 Maxi, and am currently looking at replacing the headlight combination switch on my '72 cheyenne. I figure I can pay $18 for a new delco unit (since all the junkyard pieces would be old and probably no good anyway) or I can pay about $3 at the local pick-a-part for a TCU and a bit of the harness that goes with it. I think it would be cool to have the electronic variable dimming on the Cheyenne's gauge cluster and maybe eventually i'd consider also making the wipers have intermittent functions (currently they only have 2 speeds).
So, can someone give me a picture of what the TCU box looks like?
