Can someone please post a picture of stock 4G SE guages lit up at night, or point me towards a webpage that might have one?

without lights coming through the rear window

the lights look just the same as the GXE/GLE gauge clusters. White lights on black background.

One time I saw the white face during the night time. It does not look like GLX/GXE that have an almost absolute black background with the yellowish white numbers. It has a kind of dark blue(or gray should I describe?) background, maybe I'm wrong. To me the white face looks better, more colorful.

I've got no pictures of my dash at night but the look is a soft gray with the light brightest near the hinge of the needles. Kind of a soft, steel gray look. If I can ever get some pics, I'll let you know.

It's not a true black background in the SE at night. The white is bright during the day but at night it's just softer. I have no idea how, maybe the lights behind the white wash it out. Who knows???

No light = black

There's no light in front of the gauges, so they show up black. The only light source is behind the panels. Titanium gauges look a little different at night compared to the white gauges depending on ambient light conditions.

Now I'm wondering.....were titanium guages an option on the '99SE. Mine are definitely titanium at night or are we just confusing the words here?
