I have looked at all the local part stores and can't find any. Do you have to use a 161 bulb?

I got mine at pep boys. All auto parts stores should have em. Just bring one of the factory ones in with ya to make sure the number is 194. If you really can't find em then PM me and I'll get em for ya.

 

Cool thanks I saw the 194's but wasn't sure if they would work. All I could find was red and blue. Anyone have green or know a place to get some green ones.

I think the real step light number is a 168. 194's fit right in. It has been my experience that Pep boys and local autoparts store selection of lights are very low quality and burn out really quick. I would recommend Polarg brand bulbs.

it is 194 for sure. I'm using polarg M-4 194 bulbs and they look awesome! Bright white. I dont see much of a blue tint like it said but still looks nice. Oh yea, Does anyone know what bulb number is for the personal lights thats above your head? Not the dome light, but the one in the front top center.

 

Hey i got a 97 maxima gxe and the light on the passenger side door doesnt work. The one on the drivers side door works fine and i checked all the fuses and theres no problem and there are no loose wires. What should i do?>

 

Im not sure what the acutal map light number is, but I know it is a Polarg Hybrid M-26 (super white). I have them and love them. They are white with a slight purplish tint...looks really cool.

 

This sounds pretty cool, how do you install them? I havent even looked at these lights im sure I could figure it out if I looked at them but have never thought of doing anything like this until now, so ill just ask. How do you do this? Thanks

 

with a flat phillips, you pry out the plastic cover. It should pop out. Then just pull out the stock bulb and stick in the new polargs.

 

I got the same problem. To this day, I still don't know why it don't work. I might have to bring in to the dealer to let them check it out. Also, I need them to check out my rear driver side door. I think it's broke or something, can't lock/unlock, roll windows up/down with the remote or the control from the driver side switch.
