odometer stopped working

All other meters are working properly. Do I need to replace a sensor or a cable?

Unfortunately, the search function is not working on this site or I would find the answer myself.

Thanks in advance.

If your speedometer still works, then your speed sensor is fine.

You might want to take out the guage cluster and blow out the odo with some compressed air.

1995 ODOMETERS SUCK!!!!!!! I've replaced at least 10 on maximas and altimas. Get a new speedometer/odometer from Nissan.

They're like $140. They will calibrate it for you and set it to the right mileage using your VIN number

When this happened to me, i just kept pressing the reset button(vigorously) every now and then and it started working fine.
