check rear brake?

check rear brake?

i have 44K on my rear brake. how do i check to see if my need to replace it. meaning how low is low on brake pads.

If you have less than 1/8" pad thickness, start planning to replace them soon.

Since I’m inexperience by visually check brakes from the rim/tire, should I remove my tire to check?

you really shouldn't need to, as you just look at the pad itself. However, to see the back side, you would need to take the wheel off.
