Any pics of Blinkers lit all the time?

I want to see this on a 4th. Gen Maxima specifically White. Right now mine are alternating but I forgot how I spliced them LOL. I have to get in there and look at it again, but does anyone have the write-up to do this mod(Blinkers lit at all times)? I'm bored and I think I want to do this over the weekend. Thanks.

hold up a second, why in the write-up, does he buy new sockets? Can't he just use the stock sockets that came with the car and rewire it to the side lens?

in my homepage, and my sig,

They get brighter with the blinker, and I also have small side blinkers on the fender, no pics of them lit up though.
I used new socketts, I followed that write up, just used amber bulbs instead of those white/blue ones.

Thanks, they are cefiro headlights, and actually no they arent HID's. Cefiro's have city lights, which is just a 194 size bulb in the bottom that you can turn on with the parking lights or whatever you want, and I have PIAA extreme white LED's in them, and it looks an awful lot like HID's though. I just took those pics a few hours ago, so sorry for the lack of clarity since it was snowing outside.

Here they are with the headlights on, silverstar bulbs

that's ok, I want to get HID's, but they are a little too much right now... there's a whole list of other mods first before those.

the stock socket is a 1156 socket meaning you put a single filiment bulb (1156) in there. To make them always on, you get 1157 (dual filiment) bulbs and thus you need a 1157 socket. that way, one filiment is on always, then the second filiment lights (making the light appear brighter) when you use your turn signals.

yo venom, the cefiro's application are 9004 or 9007? if it is 9007 do you have to buy the housing separately?

The method crockpot posted works, but it's kinda sloppy, you are basically turning off the side marker light by applying +12v to both wire leads. This works because theres a potential difference of zero across the light (0 volts) thus it turns off. But no one ever said applying +12v to both leads was a good idea. I'm a perfectionist... to do it the right way, do the following...

to get them to alterate, it requires a minor rewiring of both bumper lights.. you need 2 standard auto relays, the 5 pin ones with an off and an on. if you arent familiar with relays then this will be extra difficult.

you just connect the +12 constant of the relay to the +12 on the bumper light (not the turn signal). Do this by cutting the wire and re-routing it to the relay. Then connect the ground of the relay to the ground of this bumper light. Now connect the +12 from the turn signal bulb to BOTH its original location (to the bulb) and to the signal switch on the relay. Finally, connect the ALWAYS HOT connection on the relay to the hot wire of the bumper light that you cut. Thats it.

What this does is when the normal signal light turns ON, it triggers the relay which turns teh bumper light OFF. Thus they alternate.

Here is the finished product:

If you need relays, i suggest going to a wrecking yard. They will charge you 2 or 3 bucks as opposed to the $13 or $20 you will pay at a retail store. If your the extra frugal type you can even walk out with them in yer pocket cuz they are so small. But i don't condone that behavior.

Cefiros use H4 bulbs, like the ones on the 5th gen., I had the 9004 to 9007 swap on the stock headlights, which only requries rewiring the harness and removing 2 of the little nubs inside the opening for the headlight. It's really not possible to get 9004/9007 type bulbs to work in cefiros as the deisgn is completely different.

h4's better than 9007? and do you need to rewire anything if you get cefiro's?
