fault code p400 - egr flow function

fault code p400 - egr flow function

Auto zone did a scan and says this is whats causing the check engine light.

Any simple steps to check this out further?
99 max 55k miles
runs fine

Yes I had the same code -- I will be posting a comprehensive pictures and directions thread on how to clean the EGR tube. It will take time, but in my case the only thing I bought was fuel-injector safe carburetor cleaner. The code has been GONE for 500 miles.
