Cleaned TB and trouble comes<---2000Max

This is my 2nd time cleaning the TB and I noticed some changes on my RPM. Let me address the problem by points.

1. When cold start, the RPM is at 1300, then slowly decrease to 1000 then to normal (700~750).

2. When I floor, the RPM can't go over 4000, and it stays at 4000 for a while then suddenly boost to 5000

3. No trouble light came on or anything and I've unplug (-) on battery for 2 days to reset the ECU and followed the Idle Air Volume Learning Procedure for 2K but problems still exist?

4. Car drvies fine under 4000 RPM

5. Is the fan supposly to be on when the air condition is off?

By looking at the symtoms, any suggestions? air leak, MAF or.....

appreciate your help.

Isn't it the butterfly in the intake got out of place when you cleaned it?

the cold start up seems normal but the 4000 problem obviously is not. i am assuming that you did not spray before the maf with tb cleaner?

Are you sure the intake tube is installed and properly sealed?

I'd imagine if there was a major leak (intake tube was loose, etc) it might cause some issues if the MAF isn't seeing all the air going through it... (all air passing into the throttle/manifold needs to pass through the MAF tube for the ECU's fuel computations to be correct)
In that case, the MAF isn't blown, it's just exhibiting symptoms of a blown MAF because other factors are preventing it from fulfilling its job...

Actually during the cleaning process, I didn't use any TB cleaner. I only used a dry cloth to wipe all the grease away.

I will recheck it again, and will take some pics to show you guys if I've mis-installed some stuff. Thanx for all the help!
