Try checking one of the books that came with the care... It has all the warranty information and stuff for each tire company that Nissan uses on its vehicles.

Crazy isn't it? $200 for those crappy potenzas..... Anyhow, I doubt your tire is covered by any warranty if it popped because of a nail or road hazard. Only if it was because of a manufacturer deffect will it be covered.

Personally I love those tires. They are quiet and hug the road like no other I have owned.
The bad news is the price of the tire. AFTER I bought the car I told her how much it costs for new tires and she freaked out on me.... ;-]. Hey, through some BF Goodrich road huggers on there and you will save a bundle but lack lots of performance.
Like they say, if you can't afford to keep in on the road, the neon/honda dealer is up the street.
Not a flame, but 30k dollar cars get decent tires.

It is true that the RE92's are decent but not great when compared with other choices out there (for the same price). However, with only 1500 miles on the tires, it would be a good idea to get another RE92 instead of an oddball tire. I mean, do you really want to drive the next 40,000 miles on an odd tire (no matter how good it is?).

Tirerack has the tire for $180 I think. But if the dealer wants $200 total for installation and warranty, then that is a better deal.

it looks like Tire Rack has them for about $145 shipped. But, by the time you take it somewhere and have it mounted/balanced/etc. you might as well pay $200 to have it done immediately. The lack of miles on the car or the tires really hinder your options.....
