looks nice

Ok...I guess its official. We finaly got one of these out to a customer and it looks great! Wait until you see it installed!
As far as the defects go, rarely if ever will you see a CF trunk or hood thats 100% without defects. There maybe a little bubble here or there but they are always very minute. I learned a few years ago that if you make a big deal over every single scratch or ding you get on your Max, you'll make yourself sick!!! Believe me I've been there. I can live w/a few minor things here or there nowadays.
Anyway mine is scheduled to be here March 10th and I'll be looking forward to it! Seeing it installed will take away any doubt about how goo the cf trunk will look you'll see
On my Fedex e-mail they list the package at 24lbs w/the box so you have to figure its about 17-22 lbs out of the box which is still very good. Updates to come.

it looks better on darker cars IMO, nore really meant for a white or silver, unless you want to look like a police cruiser from far way.

IMO I would only put this on a black car. I think the two tone look makes it look like you added pieces to the car from other cars. To each his own though. What I really cannot stand are those who paint their hoods black to look cf, that is

its monday, take pics already! haha

i have a CF hood on a grey luster car, and i think it looks excellent. i do agree it looks better on dark colored cars. black, gunmetal, not much else, but done right, and not too over the top, it can look very nice on a light colored car, like Kloogys.

have fun aligning it.
also be careful when you scew it in...it's very easy to break the fiberglass skeleton to which the cf is laid on...which you must screw into...

from the guy with SSR's?

It definately will set you apart. A lot of cars/people have hoods, but trunks is just the ultimate. I'm sure on grey lustre it will look real nice with the dark tails too. Nice job.
