lol... my muffler fell off.

so i was driving home 1 night and i heard this loud noise i was like wtf is that sounded like something was banging. so i go to the muffler and i am able to shake the tip with ease. i get under neather the pipe that connects to the pipe is rusted off and i guess it broke from all the bass in my car . But damn the muffler is still good its just the flange pipe that needs to be replaced i just need some help . I had to break the nuts off because they were rusted and stuff but its the same thing on the flange pipe . Am i able to replace that one part of the pipe or do i have to replace the whole thing?

It depends where its broken. The muffler section comes off at about where the rear axle beam is at. If it broke after that, then you can get another muffler/rear section.

Not to laugh at your misfortune but if yours is a 95, then I must have 2-3 years left since mine is a 98 (if yours is original, that is). My muffler has been rusted apart for about 3 years now, but still no problem. I do hear some rattling going on though.

Most anything can be taken apart at a muffler shop, thanks to torching.

Take it to a muffler shop...there should be one that can fix it for about $10.

(at least here in Dallas you can)
