New Question? Jet Chips

Hey guys,
I have a 00 maxima with headers, CAI, Udrive Pulley, Cluthc, Light flywheel. Full suspension setup. I was wondering should I invest the money to get my ecu reprogrammed! what kind of Hp gains should I get ? As well as if the redlien will be changed?

Thankyou

P.S. i want to get NOS later down the pie a year or so?

JEt said you are looking at 15+whp. Also, u can't get NOS with a reprogrammed ecu. One or the other.

to be honest, i have never seen a jet application that proved to be worth the money... this stems from GM cars, but im willing to bed the same theories apply...it may change things, but it doesnt do enough to make it worth while...

Buy a 95/6/7/8 or a 2001/2/3 OR, go to the dealer for the base timing advance. No extended limiter but some benefit that no other mod does. Keep in mind, the base timing is different from hte ignition timing taht gets adjusted when the ECU is reprogrammed. Check into seeing if tehy do the 00 also, I could be wrong.

Everyone says Jet doesn't do anything. My brother has a 96 maxima, and when his ecu got reprogrammed by jet, I FELT THE DIFFERENCE. Regardless of what people say, I know his car performs better. I am sending away my ecu to jet and I have a 2002 Maxima. I spoke to jet yesterday and they said they do Advanced timing, ignition timing, and air/fuel ratio increases. Although the rpm limiter is still the same they said about 15whp from the ecu reprogram. I WILL POST RESULTS as soon as I get the ecu done. But jet performed well in my brothers car. I guess he's the only lucky 1.................

Post before and after dynos to be the 1st one to shut me and maybe a few others, up for good. ... You seem a little edgy, but we're all in this performance increase deal as consumers, so we watch out for scams. Most of us base our decisions on scientific test results, then from there decide whether it's worth the money. JET has never proved to have any gains for our cars, tehy calim to, but the results are bogus from the webpage where they have the 98 Maxima dyno listed, becauae anyone who has a curve looking like that .. hmm well has a different IM on their car. Believe me, if there really is a 15 whp difference, one would think more people would have it installed, but let me know on your findings, post dyno results, 1/4 mile slips, but until then ... JET wont get any of my money. Feeling the difference and seeing it on paper proven are two very different things. I hope you prove me wrong

A 6th gen guy started a post about how he got the jet chip and it gained power. He said he felt it was his favorite mod because he really felt the power. I have never been a fan of JET though, to much trash that I have heard about em.

He had no dynos... if ya look at all the people who posted against JET, they know something, you'd better believe it...
