That's bull. I got these $20 100watt bulbs in this one store by my house. They are called "Farenheit Xtreme white" and they truly are crispy white and honestly bright, too. Well, I've had them for just a little over a year now. I also bought another pair just in case they burn out. Well, it's laying around because I had no need to replace them.

Notice that many bulbs fail prematurely only because there are morons out there who still don't understand a few basics. Like, for instance, that touching a bulb with your finger once is enough for it to last 3 months, instead of 3 years.

I went through 4 sets of ricer bulbs. Then I gave up and bought HIDs. HIDs are definitely worth it.

I understand that HID's tend to last a lot longer, but you're replacing bulbs thre times a year? I've only replaced each headlight bulb once in almost 10 years and over 200k miles. They're not the blue ones, though, they're the stock halogen 9004's. Even so, 3 times a year is way too often....

How is $180 + $60= $220?

By the way, I think they look great, especially for $20.

blue/superwhite/whatever ricer bulbs have a much shorter life span than the stock sylvania's.

ill try and take more pics soon....and you guys are missin the fact that if they do burnout, they have a lifetime guarentee on them. so $20 aint bad....and for you people with HID without projectors, those things are way too bright and glare so much into oncomming cars. I passed some ricer the other day with them in and I could barely see the road. until i save up enough money where i can buy both projectors and dual fillament HID's, i'll stick with these nice lookin bulbs for now.

Dude HIDs don't use fillaments. I think you mean Bi-Xenon.

then again, if you all mighty HID people ever went with projectors, you'd realize what worthless POS your HIDs were.

Nobody said we were almighty, just stating the difference between HIDS and bulbs are amazing. Although some of us dont have projectors, the light output still beats that of a high wattage AM bulb.

On top of that, my wiring harness doesn't burn out like it used to when i had high wattage bulbs (i had the same nokya upgraded harness...and they STILL burn out eventually). I dont have to buy bulbs every few months either.

Get some HIDS, learn the difference between both, then you can continue to annoy every member on the org...

i agree with nismotic. if you aim the HIDs properly, you wont blind oncoming drivers, and you dont look ricey with the high wattage "superwhite/xenon blue" bulbs. i used to get brighted with my piaa xtreme whites, so it would depend on the driver oncoming towards you. sure, projectors are nice, but if they're so nice, ditch your "superwhite" bulbs and retro fit a set yourself. til then, you'll only be half as bright as me.

Retrofit is the best setup. Although aiming your headlights down towards the ground, you are losing usable light and some of the glare still hits oncoming drivers. I'm not proud of it myself, but i hardly get high beamed. I'll be working on a retrofit this coming spring-summer.

Nobody said they enjoyed blinding anyone, so your corny comments aren't needed here.
