I just had my SES light come on and I know everyone is going to say I should of searched first but I did. The only thing I found is how to reset the ECU for a 2k2 - 2k3.

I don't want to go to the stealers and am not a genius when it comes to cars, can anyone help me?

 

go to an autozone they will check ur ses light for free and tell u what code it is

thanks guys. I will go tomorrow. Now once I get the code I'm assuming I can search the code number and find out exactly what's wrong? Has anyone tried disconnecting their battery to make the light go out?

 

just go to autozone.. get the code and we will try to help... if you disconect the bat it will come back.. and you will ask the same question again... you have a 00 so it could be P0420....
