My CAI is getting mad loud...

and i just installed it a few months ago so it can't be that dirty.. at FT I can only hear the roar from my engine while my exhaust is mad quiet... my cone was definitely quieter

have you cleaned the filter since you installed it...you may want to clean it like 30 days after initial install and then once every couple months...i noticed the same thing and after i cleaned the filter throttle response improved and the noise was back how it was the day i did the install...

and see if the air filter came loose? that happens more often than we'd think!

Well ofcourse at WOT it's going to be loud. My car is very quiet when I don't get on it.

don't get on it, drive normal and it sounds just fine.

my filter gets really filthy. i have the gxe so no fog light to cover up the hole.. so it sucks up bugs/dirt all the time..

u think the filter fell off?

maybe shing is right..i should drive slooowly =)
if i have time i'll jack up my max this weekened to check if it's filthy or not.. but i doubt it..i just cleaned/reoiled it like 3 months ago..
