Anybody with problems with Leaky Clear Corners?

I just recently purchased clear corners from Custom Maxima and was very surprised at how cheap they feel. I was wondering if anyone had any issues with water getting into these lenses?

I was thinking of lining the seams with some sort of silicone calking before installing them- any advice or comments are appreciated.

I still say ebay DC clear corners are of the best quality.

I don't know about CustomMaxima clear corners, but....

I just put on some so called "diamond cut" clear bumper corners off ebay (procarparts.com). The fitment sucks, theres a gap between them that's clearly visible. Far away they look great, but standing next to them you can clearly see the gap between them. :P Maybe I'm being picky, but I'd gladly pay an extra $20 for CustomMaxima ones if they are built better than these Taiwan things I received. I'm afraid the first rain is going to short my bulbs because they look so da*n cheaply made they will leak.

I wondered if Custom Maxima's diamond cuts looked and felt as cheap as these ebay ones do. Maybe your post answers my question.

I've had mine for about 2 years and there has been no fogging or leaking.

I have the CM DC ones. Bought them strictly for the non-cloudy lenses. I noticed the crap construction so I clear silliconed the gap between the lens and the housing as soon as I opened the packaging. They are leak-free now. Fitament seems decent enough. No movement.

Yup mine were leaking and fogging up real good inside. Actually it got so bad it corroded my harnesses for my 194 bulbs. I drilled a small hole on the bottom of the lens and no more fog or cloudy or leaky clear corners.

I've heard of this problem before with the aftermarket clears. So I used clear silicone around the edges before I installed them & I've haven't had a problem.
