Help me decide.. the shop screw up and so far people like the screw up...... But still I'm thinking about it. I have until Friday to fix this....

SHOULD I KEEP THE GXE BUMPER OR GET THE SE ONE.... THIS SCREW UP IS MAKING MY BRAIN GO CRAZY....

 

White gets my vote. I've been a fan of body colored grilles for a while.

I think it looks very clean compared to the black. You might try painting/smoking the emblem for a unique look.

 

I like the white car with the black grille myself.

Make the lip and the grill black

But if you make the lip white, than the grill has to be white.

i would say grille black and add some AE headlights to complete the dark colored look, also matches the SE tails. I am not a fan of the white grille at all. My .02

white looks much more unique and different/classy..plus with the shiny HID headlights it will look really nice and not like everyone else's white max..i would deff keep the white. :

 

Either way take it back and tell them you want a SE bumper or grille not a GXE/GLE one.

The SE grille does NOT have a chrome ring around it.

i'm not a fan of the stock grille at all.

i just installed mine and i like them a lot. Makes the car stand out from all the other maximas.

 

Black grille > White grille; white grille = rice

 

i have to agree... the black looks more classy to me... keep the chrome ring with a black grill, other wise your entire front end will be white.... it will be boring... the black grill just looks better.

 

I think it's gonna come down to what you like best. I've wanted to paint my grill for awhile. Also I think your car would be hot if you painted the new hids black. It would break up the all white thing you got going now.

 

I made up my mind... but not with the grill.. the ar is going back tommorow so they can replace the front bumper with the SE one......... I like the chrome ring but it is not the SE one....

 

You should have just gotten the 2k3 bumper....

 

Yes, that would have looked nice. And there would be no space between the headlights becuase you are getting HID's.

 

you guys are right on the money.. but.. I got the Stillen kit waiting to go on... so that's why I did't go witht the 02-03 bumper.., anyhow.. the car is going back to the shop they did a bad job on the car, actually it sucks...
My wife looked at the white grill and she loved it...even my son loved the white grill so I think it will stay white. For the chrome ring... it matches the sides of the doors so it is a good add on........ But still thinking about it...... I have until Friday to make up my mind..... so keeep giving me suggestions...

I'm going to black out the HID's..... that will help.....

 

I think the black looks much better. The white just looks "cheap" to me.

 

I just came form the shop and they told me ....OOooooppss, we missed that.... I was like WHAT?, I cannot believe that, but they are going to repaint everything,

 

white all the way, body colour grilles look clean. I had mine done, of course it's not too noticable because of the green car, but still, body colour is best

 

Well damn it looks like it is dead even at 17 for both. I like the black. Im a fan of painting the grill the same color as the car but I think that it looks like **** on a white car. Thats just my .02

 

the white looks busy as hell on the front of your car. Once you go black. . .

 

well, I just voted and made it 19 to 19, weeeee, aren't we alot of help, lol. anyway, I like the white, the black looks stock, so if you are going for the stock look, go black, but I like the white. I think its gonna come down to what you really like........as we aren't much help 50/ 50. :-)

I'm liking the white.

 

White with a white car and Black w/blk, Color coded with the body. The only reason I don't paint mine pearl white is because I have the GLE grill and I LOVE THE CHROME!

 

id say go with the black, all white makes me think of a cheap paint job, like they could'nt take the time to remove it or tape it like you see on many taxis where they paint over everything. to be technical the stock is actually a greyish color. i hope the shop will order you a new grille and not literally paint it black because it is'nt actually black. if they tried to do that to me i'd go nuts,make sure they take care of you.
