2 quick questions, license plate bracket and cigarette lighter ?

i got pulled over a couple of weeks ago for having a license plate light out, no ticket just warning. i went to fix it and could get the bulbs out because the entire bracket was rusted out. i need a new peice. anyone know where to get it and how much?

also my cigarette lighter doesnt seem to have any current. my radar doesnt even fit in all the way and anything else i put in wont work. any ideas how to fix this.

thanks

call goldies junkyard in walpole and see if they have any 4th gens and get the part there. or if you know of any other local junkyards, they're your best bet. however i'd call the dealer too because for a small part it might be cheap, you never know.

check the fuse for the cig lighter in the fuse panel to the left of the steering wheel. mine doesn't go fully in but it goes in enough to get power. goodluck

lol, yeah i just had the same problem. I actually fabricated a new one. All it is a 2" strip of metal with some notches cut out and some holes drilled. It also has some bends to recess the lights a little more which made it a little harder, but they aren't necessary. probably better that OEM because i got to paint/rustproof it.
