SP2 Vid Pt 2

Alright, well i just spent an hour trying to find a parking lot with lights, and enough room to get on the gas, but I didnt come up with anything too big. I took a vid of me taking off from a stop, but thats about the best I could do with my resources. I'll post the vid in a few mins, so you can at least get an idea of take off...I ended up getting to about 3500 rpms and 50 mph before I had to break, which isnt bad given the small amount of space I had. You can see as I get through the parking lot, that it curves to the left, and I have no choice but to brake. More to come...

Usually, digital video cams record in MPEG format. You can then use quickttime or WMP to play the video. But in order to get WMP to play it you must download the MPEG file first instead of just playing the video from the web browser. I just happen to have the latest Quicktime player in my PC so I'm all good. Im wondering what kind of DV camera you have that records in MOV format? BTW, good thing noone snatched your camera while you were gone.

Plus recording in MPEG will enable you to take longer videos. Looks like that camera is limited on how much video it can take.

Why does the vid stop before you even get close on the way back, then? Thanks for the vid though, I"m definitely getting a SP2.

I actually didnt want the vid to be too long, so i selected to take a 30 second vid...i thought i would make it back to the camera in time, but it didnt work out that way. This was just to give some people a better idea...It's tough trying to do all this by yourself, so that's what I came up with for the time being.
