Suspension

Ok, I know this is a stupid question but owell, im asking anyways.
Whats the difference between coilovers and springs and shocks. If I lower my car do I need them both or just one or the other, cause thats what it seems like, I wanna lower my car...soooo what are some good set-ups also?

wow ok, i won't flame you

but coilovers include the spring/shock assembly in one, cheap coilovers include an adjustable spring w/o a strut assembly...but stay the hell away from those the only decent brand would be ground control.....ok if you do just springs then you can either use your stock struts/shocks, again not recommended, or when you upgrade springs you can opt for an aftermarket strut/shock....that's a quick summary

now someone close this thread
