1994 GXE vs SE Question

Is there any difference, engine-wise, between a 94 GXE and a 94 SE?

Thanks,
Keith

There's a 30hp difference, but the torque numbers are about the same.

Other than power numbers, there's of course the difference of two cams: VE=4 and VG=2. One is chain-driven (VE), the other has a belt (VG); one only comes with an automatic tranny (VG). VEs also have a variable intake system, whereas the VG does not.

Wrong! Both the VG and VE have variable intakes.
