my remote stopped working. I changed the battery and still doesn't work. where do I find the computer that controls the alarm?

 

are you sure all doors are closed? if not that could cause it not to work. just a start.


also have you tried to reprogram it and see if that works?

 

computer that contorls this ins h the trunk, on the passengar side, its a little metal box, have to remove the interio trunk trim to get to it, located near the antenna, i'd try there first.

yes I tried to reprogram it but the remote wont send any signals out so I think it might be the remote. I'm buying a new one.

 

wait a mintue so your remote was working then its suddendly not working?

This just happened to me also but I lost my clock, and beeper when the door is open, going to spend a decent time tommorow trouble shooting will let you know what I find (hopefully I find something, not used to opening my door with my keys )

 

well for me ti turned out that I blew the elecctric fuse it was up at the top right, when looking at the fuses under the steering wheel.

I had checked the other 2 yeasterday but didnt know there was a 3rd, tooks it out this morning and I blew it to all destruction, replaced and beep (when door is open, or lights left on), clock, and keyless entry was back.

it sucked cause I could have used my keyless yesterday when it was pouring rain instead of standing at my door fumbling for keys. . .
