Weve been waiting on you Dues!

Looks good man. The all black is hot!

Gonna have to see some daytime pics (as usual) hopefully the "see thru" effect wont be as glaring.

WoooWoooo

Thanks bro, I did my best to get good pics. Pics dont do it justice. Powdercoating was a GREAT move and the only way to do it.

Ditto, but I'm guessing it looks great without the camera flash.
Nice work.

looking good Night Rider, you're welcome for the powdercoat suggestion. I was afraid that onyx paint wouldn't last as long.

Looking at the last pic, if the bulbs show up white like that, the corners look better as is.

you know what would make it complete (besides your stillen Kitt of course)? IMO, a powdercoated black hamburger would go nicely. either way, w/ your setup, the grille is tons better black. I see some chrome strips also falling victim to the Blackness.

so how much did the coating cost?

I doubt Ill stick a badge on it. I love the clean look. Powdercoating cost $75 and was done in about an hour. Done locally here near Upland.
Here are daytime pics just taken:

I think the cornering lights REALLY need to be tinted, RIGHT??

Next project is installing my pulley, and painting chrome strips, filling in holes in front bumper where jacka$$ dealer stuck a license plate holder, filling in rear spoiler holes where hamburger was removed, and painting and installing Stillen body kit.

I don't know... I think if you take that Maxima lettering that's on the back (not sure if you debadged yours) and put it in that grill, it would be TEH SEX... just like that photoshop that somebody posted before.

you gotta shop the black MAXIMA on the grille.

all those choices are tough. okay, so if anyone else does this mod, you have to pick one that isn't already done.

if I ever do this, I have dibs on black hamburger since I have an extra one. My pride won't allow me to debadge. Oh wait, how bout a chrome/red NISMO on the driver/lower corner instead?

Looks awsome man. One of the angles looked exactly the photoshopped ones from the previous thread. Excellent job. I like the idea of the maxima in the grille, but since your trying to get rid of the chrome, i suppose only black would do on that segment. Either way looks great.

I think it needs an emblem in the grille... a black one would defeat the purpose but "black chrome" or gunmetal would look good. Even a regular old Nissan burger would look good.

I vote for Bronze burger to match the wheels. Deus, Throw a piece of tint on the cornering lights and see how that looks.

Oh, and wear a Darth Vader helmet when you drive it. lol
