wait for the struts, you don't know how long your struts will last, just wait and deal with the headache all at once

i have tein s with stock struts. did it months ago, no problems, nice ride. car has 94k miles on it too. everyone keeps scaring me with struts, but i'd put 'em on and buy them when they blow, say a year later, that way maybe u sell it or accident, or whatever, u didnt spend the money. as ride goes, its a lil bouncy, but not harsh at all, however i know where potholes are.

Im runnin tein s with stockys. I couldnt wait to get new struts, I had to see what my car lookied like dropped. Its been 4 months now, getting a little bouncy but not bad. I will prob get illuminas shortly. I say go for it, get struts later. The job is time consuming but easy.

Are the Tein S a good choice. Is the ride rough? How does it ride with the new illumina struts. Im looking to lower my 97 SE. Not sure the best way to go. It definately needs a drop. The tein website said you could expect 2.2 in the front and 1.8 in the back. I already have to be careful not to scrape the front on low driveways and things like that. I want to get springs that help out the handling and not drop the car too much to where its gonna be a ***** to always have to go sideways. I just don't want to get ****ty springs. I like how the tein springs feel on my friends car. They feel stiff, but not super stiff. Please help me out guys. Whats the best spring for performance and struts to get.Looking to spend around $200 for springs. Also, I'd app. some pricing help on struts. Just starting to look into dropping the car so thanks guys for your patience with my ignorance. Thanks

Wait for the struts, I'm on S-Tech and Illuminas and the ride is a bit rough when I'm Downtown, I don't even want to imagine how it runs on stock struts. Probably last 1 week
