who has underdrive lighten pulley

Well yes who has them and what did you think of them?

Where did you get it and what brand.

How much?

And how much power do you think it made?

unorthodox racing has it for the VG, ASP has the VE pulley

it feels like it revs alot "cleaner" and with more ease

personally it was hard for me to tell an immediate difference of the pulley alone since my car was down for 8 months when i did my motor which was when i put it on

I have an ASP, and 1st and second gear revved much quicker with it. 3rd gear, not so much for me. I'm hoping the addition of a Fidanza will change that .

I'm pretty sure Aaron shaved 0.2 off his 1/4 mile time with one.

The ASP UDP is good, but I would get the Fidanza first. The fidanza gave me a way bigger smile than the udp or even the y-pipe. If you have a maxima and are impressed, You will be blown away with the fidanza in it. Can you tell I love it?? I was owning mf's all over the place. GET IT, GET IT, GET IT! It's worth the $325

The only downside is that you will be underdriving your accessories. which means they wont be getting as much juice.

Okay, and when you say accessories, you mean like the radio, A/C, interior lights, exterior lights, etc? For instance my radio sound quality won't be as good as it should? Does that include power steering?

I haven't noticed any disadvantages with the udp. My alternator still keeps up just fine with my system and my a/c still gets cold as hell. Also I don't notice power loss anymore with the a/c on (I was just noticing it today because it was pretty warm here).

Yeap, I shaved exactly 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile with it. I shaved exactly 1 tenth in the 60 foot alone.

When I first installed it, I instantly noticed an increase in throttle response. I've never seen my tach move so fast! Then, I played around with my car around town and definitely noticed a slight improvement on low end power. I could chirp the wheels off the line, where I couldn't before. It definitely is not in my head b/c i proved it at the track a week later. My advice, get it! But, get an intake first, then high stall TC, Ypipe, then UDP. That is, if you have a VE Auto.

i've got one. immediately i noticed throttle response and quicker revving. i also noticed the motor was alot more responsive when engaging the clutch, which i like. other than that its mostly a response mod more than ridiculous power.
i noticed a huge difference when i removed the a/c system and shaved that rib off the pulley. i'm sure if i ever get a fidanza for this thing i'll rev similar to an F1 car (okay not really that fast). i'm just hesitant to pull the tranny off for the third time.

I ordered the red one, but they sent me blue... and three days late at that.

After installing the UDP, are there any mods that can be done to have your accessories running the same as with the stock pulley?

You could replace your alternator with a high output alternator and with the UDP,have the best of both worlds.

I don't know why you'd want to bother... I didn't notice a hair of difference in charging, power steering or AC performance after the UDP. The only thing I did notice was a crapload more throttle response.

I agree. I noticed no difference in headlights dimming more with my 10" subwoofers I use to have. I THINK I noticed the AC not blowing as cold as before. But, it could be in my head. The AC still blows plenty cold for me! Power steering didn't noticably change for me. But I did instantly notice that my tach needle moves MUCH faster than before.

I doubt anybody was have any numbers on this one. But, it's safe to say, you can shave 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile.

when I ordered it was in the beginning where people started to get them , and they where selling out and having to make a fresh batch, and it took them a while til they made more... But I think I was just lucky enough to have been purchasing when they were low... Dont worry they will deliver
