y-pipe question
The y-pipe will give you a little growl, but only after about 4000 rpms. So when you want your car to be loud you can make it loud, but if you drive conservatively it won't be loud. It made a noticeable sound after installation in my cars, but they already had intakes. The performance bang for the buck is worth buying the y, unless you want it to be stock.

lmao. i got mine at $160(.org price shipped to canada) when my old pipe was rusted through and leaking smelly gas..
i was about to take it to a local shop to have them put in a stocker, but they wanted CDN$450~ for that pipe.. so i said f-that and bought a wsp.
i'm so glad i went this route instead of having that guy put in yet another crappy stocker..

well think of it as a 350z and g35 6-speed. the drone that they make when shifting gears is noticeable but when u shift gears in a 3rd gen. with the WSP y-pipe u'll feel it from inside while drivin'. thats how i c it from my point of view.
Its a good thing i was browsing through this i was a bout to buy a Y-pipe on ebay. if they have a GD then its on. i will call first thing on monday and get one too.
. $160 is not bad at all. thats the best deal i have head all day.

How about the cat converter WSP sels with that Y pipe set up has anyone had a problem passing inspection? They also carry the cat back system my 94 max is stock for now is the clone version the way to go for the finish. I know the magnaflow cat back is noisey. My kid is inheriting my max and I don't want any police harassment for her.
I did an intake first then the Y pipe a couple weeks later. I noticed massive increase of acceleration @ 3500 RPM and up and a more noticeable difference with it than the intake by itself.
I'm finishing my exhaust soon with the rest of the wsp setup. Not to highjack this thread or anything, but is the magnaflo muffler's noise similar to the ypipe and intakes' or does it still make a ricy annoyance?
