speed govenor

a while i heard somehing about a speed govenor and how someone removed it, i just wanna know if i can remove it and whare it is im sorry if this is a repost but i coulldn fint the orginal thread also what is the little allen socket screw for inside the maf just curious thanks.........

Yeah, it's call get a 5-speed. These cars don't have a speed govenor....

YeahI have an auto and my speedo hovered slowly around 115. It took forever to get there. After hitting 100 it starts to creep.

yea i think it just tops out some times....i've gone 125 but i had tweaked a bunch of things before and it was a cool day in a lower altitude area...

and HOLY CRAP it was scary....wont do 125 ever again untill i fix my suspension

Yep you can push this car as fast as your engine can pull you with no stop. Good breathing engine will take you past 115 and also a good trans with overdrive OFF... Like mentioned speed with a good suspension it gets scary when your boncing up and down. If they had a speed governor it would be in the ECU...

Ps. 5 speed faster then auto cuz auto is a oil pump....

lmao im doing suspension work as well, last time i pushed it i was bouncing like crazy. plus i hate taking sharp turns and having crazy bodyroll
