GC/ Illumina set up ?'s

for all you guys that have installed ground controls and illuminas on their ride did you have to do any sort of modification to the strut itself? the sleeves wont slide down the body so do i have to grind down the shock collar? i thought it was only for agx's... anyways let me know how you guys installed it and the modifications you did. thanks.

It says in the descriptions of GCs when you look online that out of the 3 models that fit our cars 2 of them you have to grind down the aftermarket strut, one set of GCs are made for the stocks with no grinding needed.
