How long do I wait to wax after paint job

Its been a week and a couple days since the shop was finished painting my car after my accident. It is a beautiful paint job, I can't even find where they blended the paint. But, my question is how long should I wait before I wax the car? It there a certain amount of time I should wait or can I just go ahead and wax it?

wait AT LEAST 30-45 days. Some people say 60-90 but that might be overkill. If it's really hot and sunny where you live I'd say 30 and if not then at least 45-60. Hope this helps.

Talk to the shop and they should be able to tell you. Most people say 90 days though.

Hows the fitment on those Z3 fenders? Where did you get them?

Thanks, I guess I'll probably wait until around end of the May or beginning of June to wax it.

Max20SE00 - that is a beautiful blue, you have a really nice looking car.

I got the fenders from autobacs1 on ebay. I bought the fenders to replace my other ones, but the new ones are not the same as the ones I bought a year ago. I have pics of both on my cardomain. Fitment is not as good as my originals. They stick up just a tad by the corner lights and where it meets by the door and hood. It really isn't that bad though, its mostly me just be **** about how my car looks. Most people walking by wouldn't even see the little gaps.

Talk to the shop. Don't be in a hurry to wax new paint, it needs time to cure. If you screw something up, the shop may not cover you.
