How about trying to figure out whats wrong with it first? Or better yet, take it to a Nissan dealer and get it fixed under warranty.

*Edit n/m I guess Nissan's SRS is with the powertrain coverage, at least for my 1996 MY. My 00 had a 10year/unlimited mileage on the SRS.

take it to your dealer and get it checked out. dont be ignorant and cover it up. the flashing airbag light means theres something wrong or it just needs a check up.

If the light is on, then the airbags will not work if you have an accident. At least that's what the light means on my Mom's Subaru. We had the same problem so I would definitely recommend you have the dealer check it out. Airbags are not something you just want to ignore if there is a problem.

well you should prob. take it in to get it checked out like others said, but to answer your question just follow these steps: http://www.geocities.com/amixam69/nissan/dash/
and just twist and remove the correct bulb from the rear side of the cluster

What if its malfunctioning and explodes right in your face out of nowhere? That lights not going to get rid of it.
