coilovers, cant afford JIC FLT-A2

well ive been doing some reading on suspension. my plans were just to get eibachs with agxs. util i saw max4speeds drop. i think that was his username. i want a drop like that. ive seen the few coilovers that are out there. i really do not want to spend over $1k so the the JIC FLT-A2 are out of the question. anybody got the JIC FLT-A1us or the Dropzone N1 Coilovers. just would like to get some reviews before making the purchase. thanks

Do you own a 4th Gen? Take a look at D2, K-Sport or Tein Basics.

Will the Tein basics give as good a ride quality as a set of illuminas with progress springs? Because i love the idea of a coilover, i just dont have that much money, and dont want to buy something cheap...

Max4speed has 19z too so that plays a factor in the look of his drop. I must admit, that car looks good...19z+coilovers.

well its between the tein basics and the D2s. i will be using this car to drive my 2yr old around in so i want to be able to adjust for a comfortable ride. i hear the D2s are a good bang for the buck. anybody know wher is the cheapest i can get them for? also, when installing coilovers, do i need any parts off of my old struts? when i did my se-r, hyperco and AGXs, i had to use all the rubber peices. will all this come with my coilovers? do i need to even take the oem struts apart? i would rather just buy all the misc pieces new so i can easily swap the oem struts back in if need be. thanks

hopefully i can order these soon so i can install by next weekend.

Same here, I had a ride in Peter's car and the Tein's absorb road shocks well as well as having minimal pitch in the corners.

I'm currently saving up some cash for a set of Tein's right now because of that ride in Peter's car.
