Resonator Removal Q's

What would the exhaust sound like with the factory muffler and the resonator removed? My b-pipe is rotted out and lookin to replace it with the resonatorless one. Will it sound throatier or buzzier?
thanks

i dont know if anyone has done it with the stock muffler, but usually people complain that its too buzzy with aftermarket mufflers, so id assume the same would apply to stock, but again, i havent ever done it, and as far as i know, no one really has.

I don't think you'll have to worry about it droning or buzzing with the factory muffler.

keep the resonator, it will sound ricy and loud without it. o wait stock muffler, nevermind. are you going to upgrade to 2.5 then?

From what I understand resonators will quiet down that raspy, crackly sound you hear on some ricers, I had a set up similar to that before and a soon as I added the y-pipe the raspiness was almost embarrassing. Added a res and it took care of the rasp but did very little to muffle the low end, that's what your stock "baffled/chambered" muffler is for.
