Hi guys I was wondering what you would recomend for wax, and polish for a carbon fiber hood? I am looking for something that you can pick up at a local store. I saw some 3m polish at NAPA the other day but I did not know anything about it.

 

Old thread but will answer anyway. You would do the same to a CF hood as you would to any other part of the car. They are covered with clearcoat (what youll be working with) so there is no difference. That is unless the car is only a one stage paint job...

 

I used McGuires NXT and was very happy with the outcome
