Car still bogging after a new KS and back to stock airbox

I just had my KS installed 2 weeks ago and returned my intake setup to stock and hacked just the firewall side of the box a week ago. the whole tuneup was done 13K ago. I cleaned the TB a week ago after going back to the stock box and have done nothing to the car since. The car still felt a bit laggy and I just gave her the benefit of the doubt and figured the ECU was re-recognizing it's new components. Tonight as I was merging onto a highway, i punched it and the car lagged worse than if I had that bad KS and cone intake. The conditions were about 50 degrees and it has been drizzling rain all day. I have no codes, been using 93 octane since, and had a full tank of gas. Couple things I was thinking was if the fuel filter would completely just crap out at 15k exactly? or did I mess with the MAF while putting the stock back on? or did water get into the stock box through the firewall hole that I had hacked? sorry for the long post. thanks to whoever read through it

I hate to say this, but it could be your coil packs. Is the lag only felt when you accellerate hard, and at around 4K - 5K RPMs?

i'd hate to think it's the coilpacks. But the lagging is only when first accelerating from a stop. I've never really pushed my car to 4-5k lately, so I wouldn't know.

So then it's more of a hesitation then a lag. I'd like to drive it to feel what your talking about. I might be able to pin point whats going on. Let me know if your in my area anytime soon an I'll meet you.
