hey guys.. i need to make this decision quick becuase i dont want to have to drive to Florida with my muffler off. To make a long story short me and my friend decided it would be "funny" to take off the muffler. Well we busted off the head of a bolt. Well i want to get either the APEXi WS or the GReddy SP2. I have a warpspeed y pipe. What would sound the deepest and throatist? I heard the sp2 can get a bit loud.

Where can i find them the cheapest?

Well, i have an sp2 catback along w/ my warpspeed y pipe and magnaflow high flow cat.. IT SOUNDS DEEP.. Kinda like a mustang. Not loud!!! no bees in can at all!!! I've met up w/ a couple of other org members here in jersey and received nothing but compliments.. Its up to you though.. I have a video that i took w/ my digital camera but i dont know how to upload it to anywhere so everyone can see it..

It'll be a 50/50 argument about which exhaust is better. I've had my GReddy SP2 for almost a year now and I am very happy with it. It has a low rumble, that doesn't sound ricey at all. Sounds like a rocket at WOT. I bought mine at www.hopupracing.com for a little over $500 shipped.

 

What does it sound like compare to stock at crusing speeds?

Does it have a constant noise that'll get annoying inside the car?

 

well my friend has a SP on his 240, and after about a day you get used to the different sound inside. from what i hear the SP is louder by far than the SP2, and it didnt annoy me. that and the fact that the max is a better sound insulated car than the 240, i.e. not a hatch but still, its all personal opinion. im gonna go with no.

 

I've had my World Sport on for over three years...deep tone..not loud at all. The sound is just perfect. I paid 480.00 shipped from SHMotorsports.com of course three years ago. It cannot be more than 500.

 

I'd get the SP2.

 

ahhh see!! 1/2 of you say SP2 and half say Apexi! damn you! haha does anyone have clips? ive found a few but most of them are just some revs at a stand still. Im looking for moving videos.

 

is OBX outta the question for most? i know it doesn't really compare to the two being discussed, but i've heard good things about it including value and tone, but it is loud i guess?

 

if you can find the exhaust thread Ceaser started, there are many videos of many different exhaust setups.

would be a good source to hear what various setups sounds like, including the Apexi and SP2.
