that's it...so all I would have to do is purchase piping from stillen and silicone couplers to convert my 4th gen V1 kit to a 5th gen? what what is the reason for this? any pics? I can't really picture the different maf position in the de-k in my head vs. the location of the maf in the 4th gen VQ...
the 5th gens had problems with the MAF on the charged side. So instead of the standard pancake filter you see with the 4th gen kits, the 5th gen has a crossover pipe that routes from the SC back across the valve cover and down into the empty section near the battery.

so it's not a location or space issue...it's a problem with the maf? so if I were using the Z32 maf, would I need to use the 5th gen piping or can I stick with the 4th gen piping?

what I meant was....the 5th gen kit only differs in maf location...from different piping, that was done to protect the maf...but if I were using the Z32 maf anyway, wouldn't it be okay to just keep using the 4th gen piping in my current kit in order to keep the maf where it would be in the stock 5th gen location which is what the 4th gen S/C kit piping does anyway..?..?
