in a 1st gen Maxima????



480hp at the crank but that fact when it does come on boost it is putting just over 650 ft bls of torque to the wheels.

Their a dime a dozen over here, great performers even in NA form
They come in R31 Skylines and VL Commadores and the cool thing is you can bolt on an RB26dett head and make a RB30dett

There is a couple of RB30det VL Commadores over here that run low 9 second passes and make a good 1000hp

damn whats the weight on a commodore in comparison with a 1st gen maxima.... 9 second passes DAYUMN! anyone willing to go in with me and order a boatload of rb30 in bulk for cheap?.........will 87 legranman help us?.........all next thread in the org!!!

Why to go the trouble of using a RB30DETT when it would be cheaper to source a 2JZ Supra TT engine. Or build a 280zx turbo engine that fits right in?

2jz engines cost the earth to build and the L28 well we just wont go there

about $4000

Not 100% but I do believe I could get a Supra TT engine for that. Plus parts for it would be available at my local Toyota dealer.

but nissan wont sell you the turbos on the engine and youd have to shell out a nother 3-4 gees for that
