where did u buy ur bezel?

a few weeks ago i bought a bezel from ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...973368427&rd=1

when i received it, i was very disapointed. it was thin as paper, rough surface from unsmoothed aluminum, and worst of all, wouldn't fit perfectly
(bezel was resting on top of the reset miles thingy). so i returned it.

i ordered a set of chrome gauge rings so i wanna match it up w/ my white gauge face as well as a chrome or better alumininzed bezel.
i found another one but dunno if its better quality but any other suggestions?

Ya I was in the bezel hunt about a year ago and came across this gem on eBay, great quality strong as hell, I love it.

I have not seen this bezel on eBay since, I think the person only sold a couple of them? Could be wrong have not looked that hard. But I hear the rings are a VERY nice choice.

Get a sheet of aluminum and a dremel with a few heavy duty cut-off discs and make your own like I did.

Yeah, I love the way the black mettalic paint looks with the gun metal rings.

I too bought a cheapo bezel off ebay a few years ago. It wasn't worth sending it back so I used it as a template for my homemade one.

I'm sure others could just make a template out of some thick paper. Just gotta take your time and do a lot of test fittings.

I like the one apeg's got but it was too much bling bling for me at the time. Don't think the maker ever did black chrome or gun metal.

i also had the problem of it getting stuck on the mileage reset and it didn't fit perfectly on the edges of the bezel, so i just spent a few hours in my basement filing out the reset hole and refitting. it fit, doesn't look perfect if you look close, but i have only received compliments on it from my friends. i like it, coulda been better, coulda been worse.
i got it off ebay for something like $10-12 shipped.

Yeah that first one is garbage. It's very thing and sucks. The second one my friend bought, which is now on my car because he totalled his old '96 maxima. The only complaint I have is that you can see a tiny bit of black on the bottom towards the middle. Other than that, excelent quality and fitment. Looks good too!

You get what you pay for. Dont ever try to get the cheapest crap on ebay, cuz you will infact recieve CRAP. Spend the extra $10, and get some quality product.

Would you take orders from interested people? That bezel set should be marketed or something.

crockpot, ur bezel looks okay but looks kinda jelloey

i recently painted my stock bezel to jet black and it doesn't look that bad so i might keep it like that.

man, i dunno what you all are talkin about with the first site, that's the one i have and i love it!! it's fits pretty well, not the best but it's awesome! it's not thin at all, it's thick n rough, not sanded down but i never touch it while it's in the dashboard and it looks great. i guess the only problem i have would be is that the little oval circles on the left and the right where the lights are, are a little small, but i still see the lights perfectly fine.
