I need to know if the Magnaflow Resonator drone. Or if the Mangapack drones. I installed a turbopack on my exhaust and it made my exhaust sound really gay at WOT. I have tried to install a glasspack, but it did not help any.

Budget uses magnaflow resonarors, its loud, and noticable at crusing, even at low speeds.

Which muffler are you using?? If you're running with the Magnaflow, trash it.

WTF should I use for a resonator then? The turbopack is one of the most restrictive things I have ever seen in my life.
Kevlo911 is thinking of using this:

And using:

He wants to use those as his resonators and thinks that it won't drone. But we need to know forsure if they will drone or not.

They sound good at low throttle openings, but once you go WOT, HOLY RICE BATMAN!!! I should know, i have one, and i'm gonna scrap it as soon as i have the money. Besides, the magnaflow isn't even a real muffler. It's just one big resonator.

OH GOD ITS SO TRUE!!!

When I first got my maganaflow muffler put on, I took it off the lift and powerbraked. I almost cried.... waste of money, im going to the junkyard and going to pull a stock one off and replace it.

Putting around at 5 or 6 km/h it sounds nice, but once i try and get moving it sounds like a bloody tractor. and i should know im a hick!

My magnaflow is for sale, complete with hangers, and up-pipe/flange. all for $175 Canadian, fits perfect, only been through 1/4 a winter.

Magnaflow is good for a resonator but using it as a muffler will be LOUD.

A magnaflow resonator with a quiet muffler like OEM or Dynomax Super Turbo should be a lot better.

I'm really enjoying my Budget Y pipe and B pipe with the Magnaflow resonator. Coupled with the stock muffler it sounds nice and there's no drone at all. This is one setup that gets no complaints from the wife!
Once you slap a straight-through muffler on then it gets annoyingly loud and you can barely hear the wife's complaints on top of that. I'm still debating about getting a 5th gen muffler put on instead of a 4th gen muffler.
