What you need:
8mm deep-well socket (or is it a 10mm?, i think it's 8mm)
Socket wrench (du'h)
Phillips Screw-driver
Common screw-driver
a 2K Maxima

1. Open the truck...
A. Push the smaller round button on your keyless entry remote (Truck Release button)
B. Unlock the driver's side door, and pull the big handle
2. Pull the center trim piece where the truck latch would be located...tug lightly but sternly. IT WILL POP OUT. If you have problems... use a large flat-head screw-driver
3. Tricky Part: Starting from the now exposed plastic screw for the interior pieces, turn it about 90 degrees till it pops out...these little ****s don't like to be removed. I've found it easier to pull the little f*ckers out and replace with solid round plastic inserts...if you want to reuse, turn the screw ever so slowly and put a thin flat-head screw-driver under the screw head and help it lift out...then yank the bastard.
4. Continue around to almost the strut tower and yank the interior piece forward which is now unveiling the taillamp. There's 4 (i believe) bolts that hold the taillamp in. Remove the wire clips the connect to some of the bolts and remove all the bulbs. pull the wires away from the taillamp assembly and push aside.
5. Remove the taillamp bolts (golden bolts, 8mm in size...or 10mm).
6. Once the taillamp is free of bolts...get a hammer and gently tap the bolts in a cris-cross manner while pulling on the taillamp from the outside. This will help push the lamp out and help the glue strip unglue itself from the taillamp.
The above steps should have taken you a whole 15-20mins with a 10min bathroom, coffee, got to stare at my car, breaks.

7. Open the package that you recieved from Courtesy with your new SE Taillamps. There's a little box that has an orange paper wrapping around some black licorice looking thing. That licorice (don't eat it, it's tempting, but, hazardous to your teeth) stuff is to be spread around the outside edge of your new SE taillamps. Once you have the old taillamp off, you should be able to see exactly where that strip should lay. This is somewhat important as it helps keep water out of your truck and helps prevent a mildew smell inside the truck.

8. Slowly guide the taillamp into the hole that once resided the old boring red taillamp. bolt up until it's snug (someone will eventually give some weird torque number, i just did it till i thought it was tight enough, but, not about to break the bolts from the taillamp.

9. Repeat on passenger side.

Simple and easy...Total time it took me to do the swap was 40mins, which included cursing cause the licorice stuff got all over my civic (i was using the truck as a work bench) and staring at the back end of the car for 5 mins with one red taillamp and one black one....This has to be one of the easiest "mods" in the world. It's even cheaper than honda fanatics pay for the clear taillamps (Courtesy sold me the taillamps for $92/ea side...clear taillamps go for $220+)
