clearing my EVAP code, now with 0707, 0705, 0903 (NEED TO KNOW HOSE SIZE)
Normally I have the plaguing 0903 EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve ECU code and it comes on every few hundred miles after I reset the ECU and then I check it and the life cycle continues, only just now..
0707 - Rear Heated 02 Sensor (which one is this, the names are a bit deceiving with the three o2 sensors we have.)
0705 - EVAP Control System - Ouch! This one hasn't shown up until now...
Any possibility (probably not) that the o2 sensor is related to 0705 or vice versa? I would guess not since the EVAP system recirculates unburnt fuel/fumes into the combustion cycle.
After reading 0705's full description... It mentions possible blockage due to a damaged tube related to the EVAP system. I just did my spark plugs last week and when unbolting the EVAP Vent Control Valve system ontop of the plug closest to the driver I had just moved the whole thing by removing the bracket and bending it with the tubes still attached... Wondering if maybe I damaged the tubes in the process.
I inspected them all just now and they appear to be ok -- do you think it would be worth my while to go and replace all the hoses (since it would only be a few dollars anyways) and pray the codes don't come back?
I'm thinking that in the process of bending them out of the way it may have done some unforseen damage that isn't visually present from the exterior of the tube.
Also, does anyone know what size these hoses used for EVAP are?

The people at autozone love me... it's 3/8 hose if anyone cared (doubtful.)
Just got 4 feet for free plus a foot of the smaller hose that the top of the canister uses; sure it would have only been a few dollars but still made out like a bandit.
Comparing the old hose I pulled off to new stuff makes me think its possible that these aren't making a seal anymore since they're so stiff and baked solid.
