I got Hail damage repair, Carbon Fiber Hood and 20% Tint..

I got my carbon fiber hood from a local shop here in austin tx.
Its a VIS hood and it cost me 560 shipped.. I wish it was a Fiber Images,
but they cost to much $$$.. Ohh and can some one tell me what a bbk is..

im loving those volk te37's, maybe 34 years from now i might be able to afford some. i got a quote here in NZ for over 5,ooo dollars for a set of 17's ?. did you weigh that cf hood for an idea on what it weighs ? i would love to get my hands on a fiber images cf hood and then paint it white to match my ride, but dont know if i will ever do it.

The hood and trunk are gonna look sick! I would prefer them on a black Max myself so it doesn't stand out real bad but it still should look hot. I want to see those pics when everything is on.

 

Flavor, you have a 96 Max? They make 96 carbon fiber trunks now?? I thought they only made 97-99 so far...or did you do a conversion?

You cant tell its CF on my car at certain angles, its very subtle on black cars, I think its the sickest on white cars Black and then other colors.

I will be installing the trunk and my new tails once I get my max back from the shop, getting my front bumper repainted.

I was thinkin of gettin the CF hood, but then just realized that it wouldn't look too good with my car being black...

 

actually i think it looks good 2 with a cf hood on a black car, my buddy has a black mazda mp5 with a cf hood looks nice...plus his car is all show.

my car out the shop I hit my front lip... I still cant beleive what I did... I was
so happy but now I must look into how much its gonna cost to repaint it...
It doesnt look to bad but I cant stand seeing my car like that after all the
money, time, and effort I put into it... Anyway Im glad yall liked the MAx...
The Hood is extremely light, Im looking into hood pins... Its doesnt rattle or
anything yet but I need that peace of mind... As far as the BBK system I was
looking into em and all the good ones are way outa my price range.. I'll just
wait till I can get a good one..
