I need help picking out 95 se rims

My car is looking good. I have a couple mods, a system and some neons. But i wanted to look into getting some decent rims. Im kinda on a budget, maybe wround 600-800 for both(rims and tires). My uncle is a parts manger so i might be able to get a dicount.

I wanted to know what sizes i could get? right now there are 15' on my ride, if i get bigger will it effect my speedometer and other things? im just looking for something nice, i dont need the biggest or the best. I just dont know where to start looking, or what is good and bad?

For the price range of 600-800 I would suggest that you look for some used rims & tires. I'm sure you can get a deal on some Nice used rims w/ good rubber. In the sticky's there is a tire size calculator which will tell you how much the new tire size will affect your ride compared to your current size. I would suggest 17" nothing larger. Bigger looks nicer but you will loose comfort and forget about pot holes you'll need to be replacing tires.

well...... be4 getting rims, I suggest dropping your max if you haven't done so. This will prevent the 4X4 max look. Then, later on you can save some more money and buy nice rims..

ditto on what everyone else said...600-800 doesn't buy new rims and tires unless you are looking at 16's or something really cheap. (read crap) Used is the only way you're gonna get it done, but do yourself a favor and drop it first!

just to let you know it will cost more than what is saids. the tires on those package deals are too small for the maximas. probably cost another $100 for the right size tires. try emailing them and youll see.

hey jokester...this is a good idea for you since your on a budget...just get a pair of 97-99 stock SE maxima rims... lots of people have them and they look GREAT...if you havent seen it, its a 5 spoke rim which is stock and really looks good on our maximas...you can go to the classifieds and find a pair of these rims or go to ebay or a junk yard and get them pretty cheap...maybe all 4 for 300$ ... then go to tirerack.com and buy some good tires for about 350 shipped.... any ?'s let me know....good luck

i dunno this is starting to look kinda expensive, i need to drop my car(i dunno how much that is) then buy rims, then good tires, seems more like a 1500 $$ investment, Which is a little over my budget, I know the owner of Auto werx i dunno if u heard of him, hes around the philly/chester area, maybe he can hook me up??
