Radio Out, can't figure out why (already tried Audio Forum)

Ok, I've tried all the fuses which made sense, Audio, Bat electronic and a few more I can't even remember, but the radio still won't work. My tail lights are fine, my clearance and side door lights are ok too, but the radio still is inoperable.

Any Ideas on what to try next? I even swapped out my after market with the factory that KNOW was good when I replaced it and still nothing. At least now the factory lights up (not the digital window just the *** and button lights), the aftermarket didn't even do that. I've been at this for almost 5 days now....looking on the internet, pulling everything out and putting it back together....I don't know what else to do. Is there something blown?

All help appreciated!

C Max,
I didn't know radios came like that, so I've never looked for any. This IS and idea, so I'll give it a shot. If there is one, Im sure I'll find it. Thanks for your input man.

yeh the radios come with a fuse or two in the back of the unit. you have to take the radio out to see it but its not too hard.

yeah..ok some have a built in apmlifier..so you might have blown the radio fuse..but since your stock one doesnt work either..try opening your hood...and checking the relays (which are also like fuses)...just take them out and put them back in..also make sure non of them are blown

Everyone thanks for your help. I finally got things running again. I couldn't find a fuse behind the radio. Frustrated, I took everything apart and back together 3 times to ensure that connection was not an issue, then I went through every fuse in my fuse box and rechecked the relay box in the engine twice. Still nothing. In a last ditch effort to try ANYTHING, I pulled both audio fuses (1 in the car and one in the relay box) and swapped them out with totally new ones and..... it worked!
I can't tell for sure which one was faulty but BOTH upon visual inspection look fine. The in car fuse looks perfect and the relay box fuse was dirty but the metal inside was connected. Im not sure how to call this one, but the new fuse swap worked and I trashed the ones I pulled. Too wierd. Glad its over.
Thanks to all of you for your help!!

All you had to do was remove the audio one under the hood, and then put it back in. It allows a full reset of the audio in the car.
