have you considered the altimas? They have the same engine and package with a better warranty. maximas are great, but if price is a factor, i would go more for less.

I tried to but they wouldn't go any lower than $ 19,950.....so i walked and told them i'd think about it....They know its a rare car so they are trying to get top dollar for it and i know they will

yeah, they probably wont have a problem selling it for that...too bad though, because that is a really nice one, and it has such low miles....i'm not sure if i would be willing to pay that much for it though...

Altimas interior sucks big time......I loved my 02 max and want another one, but this time i am gonna go back to driving stick....made a bad choice by choosing the auto just because i wanted my wife to be able to drive it and she only drove my car 3 times in the 3 years i owned it . Looks like i am gonna have to dip in the savings for the extra 6 grands

QUOTE=S00NR1]Street Reeper's internet is currently out of commission so I am posting this for him.

FS: 2002 Midnight Blue SE

54k miles
FULL Nissan Factory Extended Warranty (100k miles)
Gray Cloth seats
Brand new performance tires
Meticulously maintained
and as a personal witness to its capabilities, this car is a factory "freak." As in, it walks 6spds with HLSD and all the other OKC org'ers will attest to this as well.

$14,000

Check this one out in the Max's for sale wanted!

I paid $18k for my '03 with 15k miles on it. No leather, bose, etc ... but if you walk in there with financing done, cash in hand, you can definitely get that car for 18-ish. They paid WAY less than that and would be happy to get it off the lot. Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's in demand. There's a reason they only make 10%(ish) of Maxima's in stick ...

I wish I had the chance to buy mine from the dealer ... I'm convinced I would have gotten a better deal.

Good luck searching!

have you tried going in and wasting as much of their time as you humanly can? dealers work on commission, so if you take up half their day,, they're more willing to sell at your price. ask about the car history, take an hour to look over the carfax, testdrive it, circle the car a 100 times, talk about the market value of the car with that kind of mileage, complain about the slightest faults, ask about warranty, tell them to explain it in detail, repeat.

Enterprise gave it to me for $29.00 a day because all they had on the lot was a minivan and they are very popular this time of year. So i am paying the taxes which come up to about 10.00 extra. Man the motor in this thing has no ***** and sounds like a vacum cleaner....in line 5 suck....Sound system kicks a$$ though
