Need Someone Near Manassas, VA to Check Out a 5spd for Me

There is 5spd in Manassas, VA that I'm thinking of purchasing, but I'm in Raleigh, NC and would like to find someone here to take a look at it for me... mainly to see if it has noticable tranny input shaft bearing problems and to test drive it as well. I'm willing to pay a fee for anyone interested, respond here with your email address or email me at klwall2@ncsu.edu and we'll talk. It would be nice if you have a digital camera as well to take pictures. Thanks!

Not to be cynical, but you run the risk of having someone else buy the car you're interested in and ripping the rug right out from underneath you. Can't you find one closer to home? I suspect the short answer to that question is no.

Interesting point, but I'd hope that a fellow .Orger wouldn't screw someone over like that... but then again, I'm giving us all the benefit of the doubt...
