My Rims Always Dirty!

Hey Folks, I am getting tired when I wash my car I notice how dirty it is each time, its black from the whole inside. Now, after i wash it i see it been dirty on the next day, and only the front ones get extremely dirty.

Oh yeah, i have white rims so it is hard to keep them clean with all the black powder crap from the brake pad.

The break pads are new too. How can I fix this??

What type of pads did you install. If you install ceramic pads there is very little brake dust.

this is false...ANY pad can dust lots, it just depends on the pad ... I have axxis ultimate pads, and this was the worst decision ive ever made to buy these...im not kidding-if i wash the car, the next day, the rim is gunmetal

well 1st of all, if you have WHITE rims, of course they are gonna look dirty all the time cause they are WHITE...and 2nd of all, the reason why they are getting so dirty is because of your pads, I dont have cheap pads, but cheap pads usually tend to dust quite a lot...do yourself a favor and get OEM pads, they are the best

I've got PBR Ultimate Ceramic pads, and they dust a fair amount more than my stock pads did. Ehh, who knows.

Wax your rims. I seal my rims with Zaino every other time I wash my car. This means I jack the car up, remove the rims, turn the CD player on, sit down and seal every nook and cranny. It's a PITA but it takes two weeks for any brake dust to accumulate on my rims.
