15.1 stock take a look

went to the track today for my first time ever
e-town New Jersey

My mods are a rear section exhaust and a ogglie intake (so im basicly stock)
I also added 2 gallons of 100 octane to my 1/3 tank
and i tookout the spare and rear seat
car weighted in at 3154lbs with me in it

Here is the slip from my best time

R/T - .341
60 - 2.269
30 - 6.293
1/8 - 9.696
MPH - 72.10
1000 - 12.635
1/4 - 15.110
MPH - 90.42

My other times were from 15.1-15.3

Your trap speeds are low. I trapped 91.5-92.0 stock (And really stock, no intake, no exhaust, 91 octane). Pull your codes.

Nice 60 foot and E.T for the mph though.

Hey Maxspeed, I saw you at the track today with the other guy who had the 5.5G from CT. (I even got a pic of the 5.5G, the Alti 3.5SE and your 4G all together.) Anyway, good job man.

There were some decent cars out there today but, A LOT of cars there ran slower than they should have. That blue Jetta with the VW Borla badges ran a sick 12.16sec ET and looks damn near stock...total sleeper.

hey whats up man, ya the other max there had a S/C and he shredded a blet during his run.

It was awsome for my first time there, only thing that sucked is my first 3 runs were against 11-12 second cars so i looked slow as hell.

Hey can you email me that pic ?

No problem man, I have a couple of pics. When I get home I'll email them to you. (I think my son videotaped that 15.1 sec run but I have to check.)

Dont sweat the runs against faster cars. It's all about your best time. When I ran my 14.725, it was against some car that ran 19.XXX; trust me that wasnt any more fun of a race than yours.

If it makes you feel any better, most of the cars running there seemed slower than normal (i.e.: 3G TL 15.7@89mph). So it's possible you could have run in the upper 14s under better conditions.

thanks man, email them to maximaspeedct@yahoo.com
ya i noticed some of the cars were running pritty slow, srt-4s were running 14's-15 and and the a couple of the 350z's were still in the 14's....

Do you live in the area ?
cause im gona be going agian in about 2 months and it would be nice to roll with a bunch of maximas.

I think my traps were low because it seemed like my cltuch was slipping when i hit 3rd, and it smelled on the way home.......

I live in Somerset and I'm probably not going to run my Maxima until this Fall. But if there's a Maxima caravan heading to Etown, I'll probably join in.

As far as low traps, it's been my experience that most Maximas run decent ETs with low traps.
