can i make a fog light switch ( the light stalk) from a 2k max work in a 1998 gle? what does it take?

I highly doubt it. The pins are completely different and the shape of the plug to snap it in is completley different. Also, 5th gener swithces have more lighting features than the 4th gener's, like auto. This means more wiring and so forth.
